Privacy policy
Caselevate is a one-person coaching business. Most of the people who use this site are under 18, so this page is written to be read rather than to cover anyone legally.
What I collect
When you book a session or send a message, I collect: your name, your email address, your phone number and school if you choose to give them, your grade level, your experience level, the events you're interested in, what you want to work on, and how you heard about Caselevate.
If you tell me you're under 18, I also collect your parent or guardian's name and email address, and I record the moment they gave permission.
I do not collect your date of birth, your home address, a student ID, or your school schedule. None of those are needed to run a coaching session.
Why I collect it
To run your session and to contact you about it. That's the whole list. I don't sell it, I don't share it with anyone, and I don't use it for advertising.
How it's protected
Names, email addresses, phone numbers, school names, parent contact details and anything you write in a free-text box are encrypted before they reach the database, using AES-256-GCM. They're stored as unreadable ciphertext, and are only decrypted when I open a booking to prepare for it or when the site needs to email you. Every time I open a student's details, that access is logged.
This site never handles payments and never asks for card details. Payment for sessions is arranged directly with me.
How long it's kept
- If you get in touch but never book a session, your details are deleted automatically after 12 months.
- If you do book, your contact details are deleted automatically 24 months after the session finishes. A record that a session happened is kept for accounting, without the personal details attached.
Both of these run on a schedule; they don't depend on me remembering.
Cookies and tracking
There is no advertising tracking on this site and no Google Analytics. If you arrive from a link with campaign tags on it, those tags are recorded alongside your enquiry so I know which posts actually reach people.
Getting your data deleted
Email dylanh7060@gmail.com from the address you signed up with and ask. I'll delete everything and confirm when it's done. You don't need to give a reason. A parent or guardian can make the same request on behalf of a student under 18.
Questions
Email dylanh7060@gmail.com. A parent who wants to know exactly what's held about their student is welcome to ask, and I'll answer properly.
